RESUMEN
O objetivo deste trabalho é fazer uma breve reflexão sobre a incidência de uma forma de violência na vida das mulheres, tal como observado em um estudo sobre o psiquismo feminino em três gerações de mulheres de uma mesma família. Trata-se da violência impetrada pela cultura dominante, que cerceia o desenvolvimento de potencialidades que levam à autonomia. Refletindo sobre essa forma de violência que incide na vida das mulheres, encontramos ressonâncias em obras da literatura e em notícias veiculadas na mídia (AU)
The aim of this article is to reflect briefly on the incidence of a particular kind of violence in women's lives, such as observed in the 'Study of the feminine psyche on three generations of the same family'. It's about the violence imposed by the dominant culture that restrains the development of potentialities that lead to autonomy. Reflecting upon this kind of violence, we found significance in literature and in the contemporaneous media (AU)
